ALL KINDS of AWESOME: Untold True Stories from the Korean Adoptee Community

March 16 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Event Navigation

Minnesota is home to one of the largest communities of Korean adoptees in the world.

‘Unwitting émigrés to America, we were stripped of our Korean names, relatives, language, history and culture. As adults it is vital for Korean adoptees to come together to tell our stories, share our losses, our laughter, and our spirit to create an adoptee cultural narrative of our own making. All Kinds Of Awesome (AKOA) Story Night invites everyone for an evening of stories from a wide swath of the Korean adoptee experiences creating a space of understanding and celebration. There will also be beer. Lots and lots of beer.’
