November 30, 2020 to December 4, 2020
Your gift makes a difference. Could you help us end this year with hope and strength?
Our work has gotten harder in this seismic year, but we have not slowed down because our communities need us to stand with them to ensure that they are not left out or left behind. While the road ahead is not certain, we still believe we can end the year with inspiration, hope, and healing. That’s why we are launching our #PaperCraneWish year-end campaign on Giving Tuesday and asking you to help us end this month strong.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 throughout December and to build a movement that puts into the universe our collective wishes for a better tomorrow through the act of folding paper cranes together. It’s easy, so won’t you join us and invite three friends to take the challenge with you?
There is no amount too small. Every donation counts to support our work of building power with communities to ensure prosperity, justice, and equity is afforded to everyone.
Thank you,

In the last two years, CAAL has been conducting a quantitative and qualitative report on the economic state of Asian Minnesotans and what intergenerational wealth building looks like. We’ll stream the event on Facebook and keep the recording posted on our website. The objective of this soft launch event is to let people know that the research is done and available online, to highlight key findings, and to invite people to join the official launch on January 20th. Please RSVP for our Facebook live event and stay tuned for the soft launch next week!
State of Asian Minnesotans: Rising Up Together
Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
The current state of our country demands that we act intentionally to rise up together. Let’s explore solutions that change how we envision community-care and ensure that resources are accessible to our most vulnerable communities. We will hear from Karen leaders, one of the more recent refugee groups to Minnesota, about how they are building their community in the face of many challenges. We will also discuss themes from webinars, highlighting historic moments that demonstrated how we have risen up together against oppressive systems that harm our communities. Your participation will help us develop tangible steps towards building a thriving Asian Minnesotan community. Register today!
