Immigration Resource Map

Immigration Resource Map

In 2020, CAAL released a  Brief About the Experiences of Asian Immigrants in Minnesota, which summarizes results from our community scan, outlines next steps to engage the community, and defines a path towards building safe and welcoming communities throughout Minnesota.

In the report, one advocate shares, “People don’t know where to go – we could do better but don’t know how.” While resources and service providers are available, there is not an easily accessible list or directory for community members to find these providers. This is why we created our  resource map to help community members and advocates access relevant and credible resources.

We surveyed over 50 organizations throughout Minnesota to learn about their services. We then partnered with the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) at the University of Minnesota to develop this interactive resource map. Although this map can be used by any immigrant group, we selected resources that indicated they provided language or culturally appropriate support for different  Asian Minnesotan communities. We hope this tool helps community members to better navigate various programs and find resources that meet their unique needs.

For any questions about this map or if you are a service provider who wants to be added to the map, please contact info@caalmn.org.
